'A Bit of Country in the City'

What I have aspired to achieve with this image is to bring a little bit of the Irish countryside into the city through a window. It’s a peek into rural Ireland and all the things we love about it, for all our city friends to enjoy. It is styled graphically and geometrically for a more modern representation. The front and back show our window views framed by the red curtains. The design is made for a 3 or 4 sided box.
I am a graphic designer originally from Seattle, Washington, living in Meath and working for a company based in Stradbally, Laois called Penhouse Design. Our rural location inspired this project where we wanted to bring our picturesque surroundins to the city. I received a degree in Visual Communication Design from University of Washington, Seattle. I love illustration and seek to include it in my daily job. I managed to sell several illustrated cards in shop fronts of Dublin, including OmDiva.
