I am interested in observing and recording nature, corvids being of particular interest to me as they often border human interaction. The work “strife” is a reference to the Morrigan in Irish Mythology, linking in influences of storyteller group “Candlelit Tales” and referencing the Celtic folklore both through the image and through the use of overlapping design influenced by the Book of Kells.
I am a Donegal born artist residing in Dublin. I obtained a MFA from the University of Ulster in 2014 and recently graduated from NCAD with a PME in 2019. I usually work in the medium of wire but I enjoy sketching and painting
also.
