This artwork draws inspiration from commuting. The ins and outs of travel from beyond the Dublin Kildare border, inwards. It takes into account the connections, the intersections and the borders that are involved with every journey to Dublin.
Megan Butler is a studying Fine Print artist in NCAD Dublin. Having grown up and living in Celbridge, Kildare, her artwork usually takes on subjects of placement, journeys and the idea of home. Primarily concerned with mark making and reproducibility the artworks inform themselves, taking shape through the processor doing and making.
