Artwork description:

M.EK. DOYLE was the first shop in Blanchardstown. Opened in 1837, it was a special place for the whole community. It was run by the well known Maggie Doyle. People of all generations have very fond memories of this shop. It has been knocked down in recent years.

Biography:

Having a love of art as a child, I have recently found my creative side again. Whether drawing portraits, paintings or murals I love to challenge myself. This piece is very important to me as I am from Blanchardstown village.
