I am a versatile artist and designer who is nearing the completion of my degree in NCAD. I specialise in graphic design and illustration.
Steering away from the commonly highlighted landmarks like the Roundtower or St. MacCullins, I chose to focus on the Barnewalls as a refreshing perspective on Lusk’s history. Sir Christopher Barnewall, Anglo-Irish statesman
and former Sheriff of Dublin, was buried in Lusk Church in 1575. His widow, Marion Sherle, commissioned a grand effiany tomb for him in 1589, funded by her second husband. Marion was later laid to rest beside him.
