Anyone who goes for a stroll through St. Stephen's Green will be familiar with its feathered inhabitants. However, what we are less familiar with is the story of a daily ceasefire during 1916 Rising so James Kearney could feed his beloved waterfowl. Today, the ducks paddle placidly through the Green's pond, as unperturbed by the rain as they were "by the bullets flying over their heads" in 1916.
My work focuses on the exploration of new mediums and techniques. Ranging from meticulous detail to considered repetition, my work is characterized by versatility and a detail-oriented approach to subject matter.
