Artwork description:

The seedling for this design was discovering tiny pieces of ceramic in Eamonn Ceannt Park. The piece is an imagined cross-section of the park, playing on potential other archaeological discoveries buried in the ground. What could be hiding? A giant Irish elk skeleton? A Nokia 3310?

Biography:

Jo May is a creative facilitator who lives in Crumlin. In recent years Jo has become an explorer of the local environment and is consistently inspired by Mother Nature and the urgency at which we need to protect our planet.
