The inspiration for this artwork came from a college project about the Dublin 7 area. I researched characters in the area and discovered that Thomas Dudley, better known as "Bang Bang", was born and reared in Cabra. He seemed to be a colourful character so I reflected that using a bright yellow and a portrait of the true Dublin legend.
I am 21 and in my 2nd year of studying Visual Communications in TU Dublin, Grangegorman. Before this, I completed a one-year Art& Design course in Sallynoggin CFE. I lean towards linear illustrations and vibrant colours in most of my designs, my main inspirations are Aoife Dooley, Fucshia MacAree and Steve McCarthy.
