What Shall We Do Today
Upper Main St, Rush Demesne, Rush, Co. Dublin

My artwork is about the fun and beauty that can be found in Rush! We are lucky to have so much on our doorstep for such a small little town. The piece features a little cat character I enjoy drawing, he is walking through the park which is the first area of wooded beauty. Behind him you can see the Rush Windmill which is a lovely historical building near the national school as you come into the main town. And behind that you see the Beach which is occupied by sailors and wind surfers. Last but not least you see the lovely Lambay Island. We are surrounded by so much natural beauty. Either side of the box is accompanied by culture and fun, a beach day by the harbour or some reading and a play in the Library and theatre. There’s much
to do :)
My name is Gracie Hawkins, I am a 23 year old painter and illustrator from Dublin. My passions lie within both painting and illustrating which makes an interesting work life trying to balance the two. My illustrations serve as a business where I sell at conventions and get to meet fans of my work while painting is a more delicate passionate side of me where I express myself and get to exhibit my work too :)
