Artwork description:

Inspired by Dublin City in the rain, this splashy colourful painting depicts inner city pigeons in flight and standing in the water. The box has a bright solid colour but is detailed in large multi-coloured splashes and drips of paint, with sketchy images of the pigeons amongst the splashes.

Biography:

I am a Dublin born portrait artist. I graduated from the Institute of Art and Design in 2012. After graduating I worked at the Stephen's Green Portrait Studio. I have exhibited solo in the Centre for Creative Practices, the Ivy House and Iontas Arts Centre. I have also had work exhibited in the Duke Street Art Gallery, Clontarf Castle, The White Lady Art Gallery, Trinity College, abroad in Staffordshire England and Centquatre Paris.
