Artwork description:

I have lived in the area for several years and I have been approached by the local residents to paint a Box in honor of the late Leo Rowsome and the 50 th anniversary of his death. After a lot of research, I have painted my own version of his famous Uilleann pipes and I have introduced one his music sheets and a couple of his beautiful sketches showing how to make the pipes to perfection.

Biography:

I am a Colombian architect based in Dublin for the past 19 years and an artist on my spare time, mostly using watercolour and line drawing, I held my first solo exhibition called ‘City of life’ in 2017 and I am planning my second one this year, I have been given the opportunity to paint a Dublin Canvas box in Cabinteely in 2018 and another one in Donnycaney in 2019 with very good reception from the locals and passerby's alike.
