The box is very close to Weston airport, and the light aircraft can be seen overhead taking off and coming in to land. This piece shows many planes and would be painted in my personal style of bold and loud coloured geometric shapes set against a prism of grey tones in the background.
I am a Kildare based artist. I studied Art Education in NCAD and have been working with adults with intellectual disabilities facilitating art projects since graduating. I paint in acrylics, my style has evolved recently to use bright loud shapes, and geometric designs. I have been developing my drawing practice with several series of portraits. I have started to exhibit my paintings in the last 2 years. I have large paintings on display on the main street in Raheny village, which were part of an outdoor painting installation organised by tidy towns.
