The Phoenix is known throughout mythology as a long-lived bird that regenerates or is born again. A strong symbol of life, hope and rebirth, it rises with the sun into the sky and gives visitors to Beaumont Hospital an uplifting sight as they enter its grounds.

Biography:

Bex is an Irish illustrator living in County Meath, creating illustrations with all sorts of themes and subjects from animals to robots. With a love of literature, she illustrates for books and comics as well as creating original prints.
