#Dublin Canvas is an idea, a project intended to bring flashes of colour and creativity to everyday objects in the City.
Less grey, more play!
Dublin Canvas is an idea, a community art project intended to bring flashes of colour and creativity to everyday objects in the greater County Dublin area. Less grey, more play. The project
takes previously unused public space and transforms it into canvases to help brighten up each area.
Making Dublin a more beautiful place to live, work and visit.
Dublin Canvas is an inclusive public art project. To date, we have had a collection of artists from all age groups - students to retirees, from all walks of life - barristers to baristas, a mixture of nationalities and a variety of art disciplines. Graphic designers, illustrators, stencil artists street artists and landscape artists to name but a few.
Dublin Canvas runs
late from Spring
and finishes by late Autumn.
A new callout for submissions of artwork is made at the beginning of Spring. The selection process takes place and then artwork is painted throughout the Summer, right through until late Autumn months.
In 2024 all artwork will be completed by late August.
Note that there a limited response to messages during Winter months.
